play with purpose
At our faith-based preschool, we are committed to nurturing the whole child through a balance of academic excellence and spiritual growth. Our curriculum integrates world-class phonemic awareness programs with a foundation in Christian values to prepare your child for a lifetime of learning and faith.
Through this intentional blend of specialized instruction and spiritual formation, we aim to develop confident, joyful learners who are grounded in both literacy and the Word of God.

Forming Foundations in Literacy

We utilize research-based programs to ensure every child develops the essential building blocks for reading success:
- Heggerty Phonemic Awareness: This program uses quick, daily lessons to help children hear and work with sounds through rhyming, blending and segmenting, all key predictors of future reading success.
- Lindamood Phoneme Sequencing® (LiPS®): We use multisensory techniques to help children feel how sounds are formed in their mouths, giving them a strong “memory hook” for connecting speech to print.
Building Christian Values

Academic learning at our school is never in isolation; it is woven into our daily mission to build Christ-like character:
- Biblical Integration: We connect literacy to faith by using Bible stories to introduce new vocabulary and sounds, such as using the story of Noah’s Ark to explore themes of trust and obedience while practicing phonemic skills.
- Character Development: Our daily routines emphasize core Christian principles including kindness, honesty and gratitude.
- Spiritual Rhythms: Children experience God’s love through age-appropriate prayer, worship songs with movement, and memory verses that reinforce their identity as children of God.
- Nurturing Environment: We model Christian character in every interaction, teaching children to navigate social challenges with love and forgiveness.

Toddler Class (18-35 Months of Age)

Class meets two days a week – Tuesday and Thursday. This class introduces young children to a variety of experiences in a safe, loving environment alongside peers. Guided by the Ohio Early Learning and Development Standards, toddlers explore colors, shapes, sounds, textures, nature and art while developing early communication and social skills through play. Bible stories and themes, along with guest speakers and field trips, enrich the learning experience.
3-4s Class (3-4 Years of Age, Not Starting Kindergarten the Following Year)

Classes meet three days a week – Monday, Wednesday, Friday – OR five days a week – Monday through Friday. This preschool program uses a hands-on, play-based approach incorporating the Ohio Early Learning and Development Standards. Children are introduced to letters and sounds, numbers, shapes, colors, seasons and foundational science concepts. Emphasis is placed on social interaction, cooperative play, and developing fine and large motor skills, while early literacy and writing skills are nurtured through engaging activities.
Pre-Kindergarten Class (4-5 Years of Age, Starting Kindergarten the Following Year)

Class meets five days a week – Monday through Friday. Meeting five days a week, this program provides a more structured environment focused on preparing children academically and socially for kindergarten. Following Ohio Early Learning Standards and “Preparing for Kindergarten” guidelines, students build on existing skills in letters, numbers, and early reading while strengthening attention, listening, and direction-following abilities. Daily activities include learning centers, group lessons, handwriting, music, Bible lessons, and active play. Additional focus on pre-math, science, and individualized support in language and writing is provided for students attending five days per week.
