Troy First youth camp

Dear Camper & Parent,
We are excited to have you join us!! A little about the campground we use: Pleasant Vineyard is located on 80 acres of open space and woodlands about one hour southwest of Troy. Housing is in modern cabins. All meals are provided.  Camp activities include: personal encounters with God, crafts led by our resident artists, zip line, hiking, swimming, worship, fishing, singing, paintball, rock wall, and more.

Cost $175

We will carpool to camp and back from Troy First UMC. Details will be announced as we get closer to camp dates. Camp questions?

Youth Camp 2024

Dear Camper & Parent,
Join us for Youth Camp 2024 this summer! All children who have completed 2nd grade or older are invited. It will be a God filled weekend with a lot of FUN!!
When: August 1-4th
Where: Pleasant Vineyard Camp at Wilderness Ridge, located on 83 acres of open space and woodlands in Camden, Ohio. Housing is in modern cabins. All meals are provided.

Camp Fee $175
Registration and $100 deposit due today.  Balance will be due July 20th.  Once registered, you will receive a separate email with a payment link, and instructions to pay with check or cash. 

As part of our commitment to nurturing the spiritual growth and development of our youth, we are offering partial camp scholarships for Troy First youth Camp. These scholarships are designed to provide financial assistance to individuals who may have a financial hardship.

To be eligible for this partial scholarship, applicants must fulfill a specified number of service hours within the church. These service hours could involve assisting with Sunday School, participating in youth group activities, volunteering for community outreach programs, or contributing to church events and initiatives. By actively engaging in these service opportunities, applicants not only enrich their own spiritual journey but also contribute positively to the well-being of our church family.  If you select the scholarship option, you will receive a list of serving opportunities that qualify towards camp fees.  

The Troy First Youth Camp experience promises to be transformative, offering opportunities for personal growth, deepening of faith, and fostering meaningful connections with peers and mentors. We believe that every young person should have access to such enriching experiences, regardless of financial circumstances. That is why we are committed to providing these partial scholarships to support our youth in their journey of faith and personal development.
