Join us for Youth Camp 2025 this summer! All children who have completed 2nd grade or older are invited. It will be a God-filled weekend with a lot of FUN!!

When: June 26-29

Where: Kirkmont Retreat Center – “church on the mountain” – is located in Logan County near Bellefontaine, OH and consists of 278 acres nestled among gently rolling hills and pine groves. The site boasts a natural fen, two ponds (one for nature study and one for canoeing and fishing), cliffs and natural ravines. Kirkmont Center is classified by naturalists as one of the most unique parcels of land in the State of Ohio, and offers many opportunities for school groups, universities, and adult education. Cost is $95 per camper

We will carpool to camp and back from Troy First UMC, 110 W. Franklin St., Troy, Ohio. Details will be announced as we get closer to camp dates.

As part of our commitment to nurturing the spiritual growth and development of our youth, we are offering partial camp scholarships for Troy First youth Camp. These scholarships are designed to provide financial assistance to individuals who may have a financial hardship.

To be eligible for this partial scholarship, applicants must fulfill a specified number of service hours within the church. These service hours could involve assisting with Sunday School, participating in youth group activities, volunteering for community outreach programs, or contributing to church events and initiatives. By actively engaging in these service opportunities, applicants not only enrich their own spiritual journey but also contribute positively to the well-being of our church family. If you select the scholarship option, you will receive a list of serving opportunities that qualify towards camp fees.

The Troy First Youth Camp experience promises to be transformative, offering opportunities for personal growth, deepening of faith, and fostering meaningful connections with peers and mentors. We believe that every young person should have access to such enriching experiences, regardless of financial circumstances. That is why we are committed to providing these partial scholarships to support our youth in their journey of faith and personal development.
