Regular attendees of our church are eligible for multiple scholarship opportunities through Troy First, as well as the larger United Methodist Church. If you or a member of your family is a student pursuing higher education, one or more of these could be right for you. Deadlines to apply are approaching. Check out the links below to learn more!

Deadline to Apply: March 31, 2026

Applications for higher education assistance grants from Troy First UMC for the upcoming academic school year are currently available here online or in the church office. Deadline for Completed Applications is Monday, March 31, 2026. Completed applications must be submitted to the church office. It is in the best intention of the HEAC to award these grants as soon as possible, however, it could take up to 45 days, or more, after the application due date. Questions may be addressed to the church office at 937-335-2826.

United Methodist Higher Education Foundation (UMEHF)

Deadline to Apply: March 1, 2026

UMHEF scholarships help make it financially possible for qualifying students to obtain higher education, especially those attending United Methodist-related institutions.

General Board of Higher Education and Ministry (GBHEM)

Deadline to Apply: March 6, 2026

GBHEM scholarships offer financial aid to United Methodist students pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees.
