TROY FIRST UMC - Integrated Assessment Action Plan
Earlier this week we made Dr. Anderson’s final report for the assessment process available. Dr. Anderson’s report did not fully address the important themes from the three-question congregational survey that received over 230 responses. This integrated report summarizes the important themes from all of Dr. Anderson’s sessions at the church, his final report plus the themes from the three-question congregational survey in 7 initiatives. These themes/priorities reflect the areas that we think are important for moving forward. The church has many activities supporting some of these priorities are already in place; this is an opportunity is to formalize, expand, better align and coordinate them. Please Note: that this is just a listing and does not reflect the order of importance nor will all of these be started at the same time. Please see the integrated report below.

Troy First United Methodist Church has received the final report from Reverend Dr. Doug Anderson following his time of listening, conversation, and leadership development with our congregation and staff.
We invite you to read the report and learn more about the observations and recommendations shared to help guide our church moving forward.
The Leadership Board will begin discussing the report and its recommendations as we prayerfully consider next steps and opportunities for growth, communication, and strengthening our ministry together.
Thank you for your continued prayers, support, and commitment to Troy First United Methodist Church as we look toward the future together.

These sessions were an important part of our ongoing work together as a church. We are grateful to Dr. Anderson for the time he spent listening, asking questions, sharing insights, and helping us as we continue to look toward the future of Troy First United Methodist Church.

To the Congregation of the Troy First United Methodist Church: the Availability of a Summary of the Congregation’s Responses to the Three Questions.
Dear Congregants,
The Leadership Team would again, like to thank everyone who submitted responses to the three questions. This survey is a vital part of learning about the needs of the congregation of Troy First United Methodist Church and will be very helpful as the congregation decides our pathways forward.
This Summary is an attempt to condense the over 200 responses to the questions asked, into a manageable format that can help everyone in the congregation celebrate the positives of our church, recognize the opportunities for change and help identify our future priorities.
We emphasize, that this Summary is NOT the Final Report from Rev. Doug Anderson. Repeat, this Summary is NOT the Final Report from Rev. Anderson. His report will be released to the congregation some time after his visit this weekend – Saturday, September 19th and Sunday, September 20th.
