Your instructor for the day will be Dr. Walter L. “Bubba” Smith, a retired UMC pastor and certified grill master featured on Good Morning America.

BBQ MasterClass Cost: $100 per person.
BBQ Grill School (Click for Additional Info)
This BBQ class is all about improving your grill skills. Taught by Grill Chief Bubba Smith, this class will guide you on the basic techniques of great barbecuing. Chef Bubba has cooked for Good Morning America, the Arkansas State Police, deployed military troops, Vietnam veterans and was the featured Grill Instructor for the World Championship Steak Cook-off.  His classes have included Grill School for Kids and High School Boarding School students.  While he has cooked competitively, he prefers to share his culinary skills of outdoor grilling with others, thus his grill tag, “Drbubbaque”.

Upon completion of this class, you will be able to “Wow” your friends with both your knowledge of grilling and your skills of preparing a meal to brag about.

We will provide everything you need. Do not bring anything but a big appetite! You will not be watching!!! You will do the grilling & smoking yourself. Once you complete this barbecue course, you will gain the confidence you need to barbecue like a Grill Master.

Whether an occasional backyard griller or just a BBQ enthusiast, this daylong class will provide you with the confidence of tackling the most challenging outdoor menu. The course agenda includes:
Ø tools of the hobby
Ø meat selection and preparation
Ø proper cooking/smoking times and temps
Ø non-meat grilling
Ø types of fuels
Ø food safety
Ø types of grills
Ø and much more

ABOUT PROMISE FOR HAITI SCHOOL & FEEDING PROGRAM

Promise for Haiti exists to demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ by partnering with, and investing in, local Haitian leaders to provide the best healthcare and education in Haiti.

Education is a privilege, not a right in Haiti. Less than half the children in Haiti go to school because students must pay for tuition and supplies to attend both government and private schools. Promise for Haiti has partnered with Comite Bienfaisance de Pignon to build and operate nine Christian primary schools in the area surrounding Pignon, Haiti.

Each of the nine primary schools supported by the Comite Bienfaisance/Promise for Haiti are provided meals for all the students. The meal, consisting of rice and beans or pasta, may be the only meal the students have that day.

When students have proper nourishment, their concentration improves, retention of information increases, and they tend to be in school more consistently.
